Introduction to Sub-Personalities.

The focus is this Intensive will be on Voice Dialogue (working with a partner) and learning the process of facilitation as well as accessing different archetypes.

  • Only 6 Actors are admitted into each Intensive
  • Tuition is $225 per Intensive

The Bova Actors Workshop is offering a unique Summer week-long (ala cart) intensive from July 19 - 23 limited to 6 actors in each Intensive.  Actors can take up to 4 Intensive in the week.

Intensive 1 -  July 19, 20 & 21 / 10 AM - 1:30 PM is Sub-Personality (intro to Sub-Personality archetypes)

Intensive 2 - July 19, 20 & 21 / 2 PM - 5:30 PM is Instrumental & Craft Intensive (introduction to the foundational principles of the Eric Morris System

Intensive 3 - July 19, 20 & 21 / 6:30 - 10 is Sub-Personality (intro to applying Sub-Personalities to the text.

Intensive 4 - July 22 & 23 is Strategic Planning for the Actor.  On July 22nd is a group session.  July 23 is designated to have 1 1/2 hr private sessions per actor.

Introduction to Sub-Personalities.

Learn the process of accessing different personalities for different characters.  Actors will work on Sub-Personalities for Character breakdowns, in monologues and text.

Instrumental & Craft

This Intensive focuses on the crux of the Eric Morris System, which is the Instrumental Work; the process of identifying and eliminating obstacles to expression, and the Craft, the step-by-step process of creating the character's reality.

Strategic Planning for the Actor
Assessment & Goal-Setting

This Intensive will focus on clarify your vision, identify the process, tweak the plan, and solve unanticipated problems in your career. 

Come prepared with several life and career goals.  If you' are not clear on your goals.

Administrative Agreement
  • Sorry, there are no refunds, transfer or funds or credits.
  • There are no Make-ups.  If are absent, you can not make up in another Intensive or roll credit over into other Bova Actors Workshop offerings
