Bova Actors Workshop – The Actor’s Creative Journey 

Introduction and Eligibility

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before registering for the Bova Actors Workshop (“BAW”), The Actor’s Creative Journey (“ACJ”)

Binding Agreement. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and BAW. and its affiliates (Business Performance Advantage Inc. Bova Co. The Actor’s Creative Journey, “We,” “Us,” the “Company”). “You” and “Users” means all visitors to the BAW. You accept these Terms while enrolled in the BAW ACJ. 

Revisions to Terms. BAW may revise these Terms anytime by posting an updated version to this web page. You should visit The Terms & Conditions page periodically to review the most current Terms & Conditions because they bind you and may be updated from time to without prior notice unless BAW raises it’s monthly ACJ Membership rate, in which you will receive at least two weeks’ notice. 

MINORS. CURRENTLY, NO PART OF BAW IS DIRECTED TO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18. IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE, PLEASE DO NOT ENROLL IN ANY BAW TRAINING AT THIS TIME. MINORS ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHIN THE VISUAL OR AUDIO RANGE OF ANY BAW ONLINE TRAINING. 

This rule is in place to ensure that the content and discussions within the class are appropriate for adult participants that may touch on mature themes, language, or subject matter.

If you are under 18 and interested in acting classes, you may contact us so we can let you know if we open a class for people under 18. 

ACJ Membership Subscription –  BAW offers an international paid monthly subscription. Subscribing to the BAW requires entering your credit card and billing information. You may be limited to those credit cards accepted by the BAW. BAW uses all payment information using Stripe and complies with PCI data security standards.  

ACJ –  Bonus Classes Membership – Services Included

Membership ($47 per month) is exclusively for the ACJ Weekly Class. Bonus classes are extra classes BAW gives and are not an obligation of BAW. 

Memberships, Perks, and prepaid services purchased are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be shared. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED OR UNUSED PERIODS.

Monthly Billing. By purchasing a membership, you authorize us to bill your first month immediately with the payment information provided and charge you every month at the then current rate or offered promotional rate unless your membership is canceled according to the cancellation guidelines or terminated. Each BAW membership cycle is one month in length beginning on the date of purchase and will automatically renew on the same day each month unless purchased on the 31st of the month, in which case you will be charged on the last day of the month, regardless of how many days are in the month. For example, if you purchase your BAW membership on October 15th, your membership will auto-renew on November 15th. If you purchase your subscription on October 31st, your membership will auto-renew on November 30th. We reserve the right to change the timing of your billing if there are issues with the settlement of your payment due to expiration, insufficient funds or otherwise, or changes to your membership.

Membership Cancellation. You may cancel your membership anytime by clicking cancel on “My Account” on the BAW website. All payments are nonrefundable, with no credits or refunds for partially used membership periods. Following any cancellation, you will continue to be able to reserve classes through the end of your current billing period. Reactivation of your subscription is at our discretion and subject to availability.

The BAW uses third-party service providers to provide information on video conferencing and classes and to provide scheduling, booking, and payment processing services, and studio and class information is subject to change without notice.

The BAW may display advertisements and other information adjacent to or included with your ratings. 

ACJ Weekly Class

  • ACJ weekly class will be taught by Anthony Vincent Bova or, a BAW representative.
  • ACJ weekly class will take place every Wednesday from 10-11 AM EST. Although we will be as consistent with Wednesday from 10-11 AM EST, there will be times the ACJ weekly class may change depending on different factors such as holiday’s and the BAW Staff Schedule. Class Cancellation Policy 

In the event BAW cancels it’s ACJ Weekly Class within 72 hours of the class, BAW will offer at least one make-up option within a two-week period that is beyond any Bonus classes already offered. 

Note: If BAW knows in advance (at least 72 hours) they need to reschedule the class, BAW will announce the rescheduled class notice. 

Missed ACJ Weekly Class Policy

In the event you miss class, you have two opportunities to make it up.

  1. You may make it up by attending a Bonus class
  2. You may view segments of the class on the BAW ACJ Private FB Page.
    1. NOTE – Any actor/participant whose voice is recorded will be asked to sign off on a release before their voice is posted. This policy is to create a high level of safety for the actor/participant.

Communications from BAW.
By creating an account, you agree to receive certain communications in connection with the Site and BAW. For example, you might receive review requests, class reservation and cancellation confirmations, and emails of the like. You will also receive our e-mail newsletter from time to time. You can opt out of non-essential communications by clicking the “Unsubscribe from this list” link at the bottom of all non-essential e-mails and entering your e-mail address in the subsequent form. In the event you do opp out of communications and still receiving communications, kindly contact BAW and we will make sure the oversight was corrected.

BAW reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and prevent access to the BAW if you violate BAW’s Terms of Agreement. 

Rules of Engagement:

Respectful behavior: Participants are expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy. This includes refraining from personal attacks, or any form of harassment. 

Including but not limited to NO:

  1. Creating an unsafe environment for anyone else. 
  2. Hate speech
  3. LGBTQIA+ bashing
  4. Religious bashing
  5. Culture bashing
  6. Proselytizing
  7. Selling
  8. Stalking
  9. Off inappropriate language
  1. Active participation: Participants are encouraged to actively engage in the class activities, such as participating in discussions, exercises, and scene work. It is important to be present, attentive, and actively contribute to the learning environment.
  2. Confidentiality: Any personal or sensitive information shared within the class should be kept confidential. Participants should respect the privacy of others and not disclose or share personal information without consent.
  3. Constructive feedback: When providing feedback or critiquing other participants’ performances, it should be done in a constructive and respectful manner. Focus on providing helpful insights and suggestions to aid in the growth and improvement of fellow classmates.
  4. Punctuality and preparedness: Being punctual and prepared for class sessions is important. This includes arriving on time, having the necessary materials or scripts ready, and being mentally prepared to participate.
  1. Participants should ensure that their performances, scripts, or any other material shared in the class comply with legal and copyright regulations. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material is not allowed.
  2. Adherence to platform guidelines: In addition to class-specific rules, participants are expected to adhere to the terms of service and community guidelines of the online platform used for the class. This may include rules regarding appropriate content, prohibited behavior, and other platform-specific regulations.

It’s important to review the specific rules and guidelines provided by the acting class instructor or the platform hosting the class to ensure a clear understanding of the expectations and rules of engagement for that particular class.

BAW Content Ownership and Use

The contents of the BAW include designs, text, graphics, images, photographs, video, information, logos, button icons, software, audio files, computer code, and other BAW content (collectively, “BAW Content”). All BAW Content is the exclusive property of BAW. 

Unauthorized use of the BAW Content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action taken against you. This includes recording, pictures or materials of BAW Classes and workshops without written permission. 

You agree not to do the following on social media or the BAW Private FB Page:

  1. Post information on behalf of another person;
  2. Post incomplete, false, or misleading information in a User profile, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
  3. Harass, incite others to harass, advocate harassment, or post any unlawful, harmful, defamatory, threatening, vulgar, sexually explicit, hateful, or otherwise objectionable material;
  4. Disclose personal information about another person;
  5. Post links, advertisements, or other content from competitors’ websites;
  6. Sell, promote, or advertise products or services;
  7. Post any franchise, pyramid scheme, or similar information;
  8. Commit copyright infringement or help others commit copyright infringement by using the BAW; and
  9. Post to the BAW any material violating anyone’s intellectual property rights.

Waiver Image Release Form

I consent and release the use of my image and likeness during the online acting classes conducted by BAW. I understand that the classes may be recorded or live-streamed, and I hereby grant permission for my image to be captured, recorded, and used as described below.

  1. I grant BAW and its authorized representatives the right to photograph and reproduce my image and likeness during the online acting classes for educational and promotional purposes.
  2. I also understand that in the event my voice is recorded, BAW must request permission to use my voice for educational and promotional purposes. 
  3. I understand that my image and likeness may be used in various media formats, including but not limited to, websites, social media platforms, advertisements, brochures, and other promotional materials.
  4. I release BAW from any liability, claims, or actions arising out of or in connection with the use, distribution, or publication of my image, or likeness.
  5. I release BAW from any liability, claims, or actions arising out of or in connection with the use of my voice, in which I agreed for BAW to use. 

Consequences of Violating These Terms

BAW reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and prevent access to BAW classes at its discretion, and without prior notice. Any suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. 

The Company’s Liability

Credit Card Payment. The Company may process credit card payments or use third-party service providers to facilitate credit card payments for membership purchases. BAW disclaims all liability associated with the security of credit card transactions.

Injuries and Medical Problems. The BAW does not provide any medical advice and does not make any determination of whether you have the physical, emotional and psychological capability to participate in a particular class. 

You agree to participate in a class at your own risk, and the Company is not liable for any injuries or other health, medical or mental health problems that may result from your participation in a class discovered or reserved through the BAW. BAW makes no promises and disclaims all liability for specific results from participating in BAW classes.

General Terms

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BAW

Arbitration, Class Waiver, and Waiver of Jury Trial

These Terms and the relationship between you and BAW shall be governed by the laws of New York.
